Doimo Cucine named Best Innovator in Sustainability  

Doimo Cucine received a Class TV Moda Award for our drive toward social commitment through projects focused on sustainability, such as our role as a Corporate Golden Donor to the FAI - Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano.

Inside the Accademia di Belle Arti di Venezia, against the suggestive backdrop of San Servolo Island, situated between San Giorgio Magiore and the Venice Lido, a former asylum converted into a home for cultural and academic institutions, on the afternoon and evening of the 5th of July, Class TV Moda presented its Awards dedicated to businesses and key figures from the Veneto region who have distinguished themselves for their achievements and innovation.

Doimo Cucine was awarded Best Innovator for the project “Sostenibilità come impegno sociale” that, together with the choice to become a Corporate Golden Donor to the FAI – Fondo per l’Ambiente Italiano, expresses a definitive approach that motivated the recognition “in line with a business culture oriented toward sustainable development and an attention toward the environment, that includes concrete support to collective artistic and natural heritage”.

We are very proud of this award that, as emphasised by our Chair of the Management Board, Keti Carraro, in attendance at the event together with our CEO, Edy Doimo, as well as Ester Vian and Noemi Tomasella from our marketing department, “represents the continuation of a journey we embarked on many years ago, before 360° sustainability was legislated, or even a topic of communication”.

She went on to explain how this approach “grows first and foremost out of the awareness of those who helped build it, because this is our way of doing business. Supporting the FAI is not only a means to help maintain cultural and artistic heritage and landscapes, with which Italy is blessed, but to certain degrees also allows a company like ours to conduct business in a different way, becoming a user of this important heritage for our activities and events. This allows us to establish a virtuous circular economy, that reinvests company resources and uses them for sustainable social projects. At the same time, these projects can become a means for realising important business activities”.
